Head office officials graced us on an insightful workshop yesterday. The workshop was about financial disclosure in a workplace, the importance of disclosing your finances, implications of dishonesty and how to best practice ethical behavior. Ms. Maureen Hendrik took to the floor and led the workshop with regards to the presentation of financial disclosure. The presentation included process of disclosure, risks of not complying and resourceful links, and website of financial disclosure.

Financial disclosure creates a foundation of trust between the institution and employee. By openly sharing relevant financial information the organization fosters a sense of accountability and empowers employees to understand the bigger picture. This transparency strengthens the relationship between management and staff. Adhering to regulations of financial disclosure assists in upholding high ethical standards. 

The college staff was privilege enough to learn at first hand and grasp all the necessary and important information about disclosure of their finances. Financial literacy plays a crucial role in our personal and professional lives. By understanding the institution’s financial health, employees gain a deeper sense of purpose and ownership.
