The Workshop was facilitated by Head Office with an aim of aligning assessment methods with curriculum standard and learning outcomes, as well as the critical role of effective assessment strategies in fostering quality education. The workshop attendees consisted of all KZN TVET Collages, targeting main senior lecturers and Head of Departments. 
Mrs. Z Khumalo (Acting Regional Director) stated the purpose of the workshop and the presentations followed which we led by respected delegates from different TVET Colleges. The training highlighted the importance of developing and implementing policies that guide fair and valid assessment practices. This will be done through strategic measures such as facilitating subject committees: this will be done to encourage collaboration among lecturers to discuss challenges and share best practices. Other key strategies mentioned were performance management: Conducting classroom observations and feedback on assessment practices and data-driven interventions: using assessment data to identify at risk students and implement targeted support. 
The training emphasized that quality assessment is pivotal to achieving educational standards and preparing students for industry readiness, aligning with the goals of TVET Colleges in KZN.
