“A woman’s worth is not defined by her appearance, her relationship status, or her career. It lies in her ability to nurture, inspire, and innovate. It’s found in her laughter, her tears, and her dreams. It’s the spark in her eyes, the fire in her heart.”
As we were ending the month of IMBOKODO, the Mnambithi TVET College ladies celebrated themselves in style. With the theme ‘A woman’s worth’. Dressed in pinafores as a symbol of transitioning femininity and representing a mixture of women’s capabilities. Even male students supported the day by wearing female clothes and high hills to display a sign of respect and embracing women’s in our college. It was a very beautiful gathering filled with powerful guest speakers such as Mrs. Bongiwe Mchunu from Woman’s worth, Ms. Nonkululeko Angel Mkhize a social worker, Mrs T. Moreka a pastor and Ms. Mbali Mncube financial advisor from ABSA to empower and motivate women in all forms and age groups.
This was a reminder to women that they matter and are worth much, much more than they sometimes endure. A reminder that they are important. Their value lies not in their appearance, roles, or achievements, but in their inherent humanity.
Celebrating the worth of every woman means we create a more equitable and just world for all.
