The 27th of July 2023 was a day to remember for Mnambithi TVET College. The College put their best foot forward in coordinating the lecturer awards function in an “Oscar Awards” style. This was to recognize lecturers for their hard work in making a difference and skilling the youth of this community whilst also encouraging those who did not receive any reward to horn their skills and strive for the best as well.
Mnambithi TVET College staff members were entertained by a live band as the staff members were dressed to the nines on their event held at the Dongala Boutique Hotel in Ladysmith.
Mr B.P. Ntshingila walked away with three awards for obtaining 100% pass rate in the program he offers. The College Principal in his speech, encouraged healthy competition amongst college staff members as they strive for Academic Excellence.
“Plant a tree, even if you will not live to enjoy the shade” said the guest speaker Mrs T.D. Mahaye in her address. She further emphasized the importance of giving your all when it comes to helping others progress in life as lecturing staff. The College Council Chairperson also congratulated our staff members and made a point of also organizing awards events for students to promote education and to inspire those who are coming after them.
