All heads led to University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (UKZN) – Howard College on the 22-24 June 2023 as the Provincial Government hosted a career exhibition at UKZN.

The main aim was to assist the youth/students with the correct information about the services offered by the prestigious organisations that were present at the event. The target audience were grade 10’s - 12’s, youth of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Pupils came in numbers for three conservative days to the stands to gather information from the TVET Colleges, Universities and companies. Another reason for this exhibition was to address issues affecting the youth in terms of unemployment and to hear the government’s responses in assisting the youth both still in schools and out of school youth.

This was such a great initiative as it showed unity amongst the institutions, bearing in mind that the priority was the learners and the Out-of-School Youth. Guaranteeing that they are provided with all the resources, knowledge and advice to make informed decisions about their future. Mnambithi TVET College was delighted to be part of this event as it emphasised the importance of education, the importance of technical skills and practical learning.
