On February 2026 we were at the 5th Annual Matric Excellence ceremony hosted by Mpumuza Traditional Authority, Pietermaritzburg where we were representing Department of Higher Education and training. The awards were for pupils who did exceptionally well on their academics in the year 2025
Mnambithi TVET College was there to render information to the grade 12s of the local schools that were gathered on the venue. Along were other respective institution who were also there to give and assist students make informed decisions about their future. Students were very keen to partake on the discussions, we were glad to assist as many of them had little to no information about TVET Colleges and TVET Colleges work. Events like these are crucial for students, especially grade 12 as they provide a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, learn from success stories and gain valuable insights into their future academic and career paths.
Students interacted with exhibitors, asked relevant questions and gathered information to help shape their post matric plans. Mnambithi TVET College was happy to assist.
