A bittersweet moment as we were bidding farewell to the outgoing SRC and also welcoming the new SRC. On the 7th March 2024, Apex Hotel, we had an induction for the School Representative Committee on how are they expected to support students, how to lead properly and how to behave as the TVET new SRC.
The programme commenced with Ms. RK Khumalo (AD: Student Support Services) welcoming all staff and all the guests. She further continued and congratulated the new SRC for being chosen by the students to represent them, support them and fight for them. She emphasized on them to exceed both academically and in leading the students. The college principal Mr. Ndlela spoke about the importance of being sensitive to the needs of the learners and to always remain grounded.
The induction was going to take the whole weekend, with the continuation of the training and some fun activities. Here are some photo highlights with regards to the training.
