“If you can’t fix it, don’t touch it”, was the theme of the day of our first-ever women’s day celebration. Mnambithi TVET College ladies took off to Nauntons Guest House to celebrate femininity. More than anything this event was to appreciate the innumerable contributions they making in the e lives of students. Women play a vital role in society as they are the backbone of families and are crucial to the growth of communities, They nurture, love, and protect everything and everyone around them. This was TVET Collage reciprocating the same gesture by recognizing them, acknowledging their hard work, and showing gratitude.

Amongst our guests, we had speakers from ABSA Bank, Health, and Life Line to share inside knowledge, and advice and offer new perspectives to things. We had an open discussion people engaged and asked questions. Thereafter was entertainment each campus had to do a Tik-Tok dance challenge followed by a raffle and there were prizes to be won.

This was the start of many more Women’s Day celebrations the Mnambithi TVET College will hold going forward, honoring women for the great work they do.
